Review on Logitech K380 Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard for Mac - Off White: Multi-Device Convenience and Versatility by Brian Page

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Really solid value

Wow. I like this keyboard a lot more than the official one I bought from Apple in December and it was significantly cheaper. (I wonder if Apple will accept my return?) The basic action and feel is excellent. I'm curious if my WPM has increased. It has all the essential features that every Mac user needs. It can also be connected to one of three different computers with the push of a button. Typically, pairing a Bluetooth device with another Apple product requires disconnecting it from the last computer it was connected to. It's a real agony when the previous car is in front of the house. If you want to use this keyboard on another device, just press the key associated with the device you want to use. So easy! The color is fantastic too. I got a pink protective case for my MacBook Air and now everything looks really chic and modern. It is powered by 2 AAA batteries, not a USB cable. I actually prefer this as I can use rechargeable batteries and the keyboard never takes up any of my precious (and too few) USB ports. It also means there's no internal battery to die over time (ahem, hello my old AirPods). The downside for some might be that it's a bit heavier than Apple's "magic" Bluetooth keyboard. It's not really that much heavier, but if you travel or bike/hike enough that a few ounces will make a significant difference for you, compare them first. I actually prefer this slightly heavier keyboard because it slides around my desk a lot less. Pros: price, color, weight, typing feel, very easy connection of up to 3 devices. Cons: Not really unless you hate the color pink!
