Looks like any office chair with enough assembly - took about an hour to put together. The hardest part was attaching the armrests to the seat at the back of the chair - 1st screw. I also had to place the back of the chair on a plastic bag at the same height as the seat to get the screws into the seat and the underside of the armrests. I had problems with one screw - I think the screw hole in the seat is the problem, but at least it's not striped. It would take too much effort to take it apart, put it back in the box and send it back. Only if something happens before it's time to send him back. The disappointment is that the armrests aren't padded - no cushion, although the plastic doesn't feel hard, which helps. The stool also has a bad smell - maybe the materials so I'll steam it to see if that helps.
