My husband and I decided to do macros and cooking. This has been the case for all BPA-containing materials circulating on plastic. This is true, as other reviewers have pointed out; the separator does not reach the lid. However, the dishes we have prepared so far do not contain liquids that can spill. There is something to consider. In general, the purchase is very satisfied. However, I was surprised by the size of the glass container (without the lid). It's smaller than I expected but the measurements are as shown (they include the cap size). The lid increases the size of the container. The container itself is smaller. Again, this serves its purpose and we will continue to use it.
