Filter lenses reduce eye strain, especially during prolonged use of the LCD screen. Only 2 stars because: - Blue filters are not revolutionary. Widespread, just keep looking - quality versus price: . I bought two pairs (one as a "backup") and had constant problems with all four lenses popping out. THEY LOOK CHEAP AND FEEL LIKE SOMETHING FROM A DOLLAR STORE. I can't imagine them costing more than 50 cents (probably less). The rest are intermediaries and markup. about $40 for this product is very high. Quality again: the lenses are soft to the touch and scratch easily. The black border at the ends of the temples and next to them on either side quickly came off, revealing the red underneath. I would probably buy again if the price was significantly reduced but in my opinion they just aren't worth the price.
