You can't tell from the picture but each box has 28 individual bins which is a decent size. Each holds at least 18 grams of size 11 beads. I was a little apprehensive about the locking mechanisms, but if you hear a loud plastic click: it's closed. Squeeze the sides slightly to open the containers. While I didn't have the heart to drop test them, the double lock on the front of the boxes seems secure.
