I bought these to use for kayaking as they would be easier to bring than an extra pair of normal shoes and seemed like the best option. They got ordered a day early as I was leaving my house to go camping so I brought them along just to try them on and see how they were. Long story short I ended up having to hike down a shoreline and through knee deep water so I put these on instead of getting my hiking shoes soaking wet. I ended up walking around a mile in these and have the following pros/cons.Pros:Dry incredibly fastSoles are very thin but couldn't feel sharp rocks or shale that I was walking onAmazingly comfortableFor the amount I used them they seem quite durable. At the $30 price point I bought these at I am very surprised at how well they have held up so far.Cons:No half sizes; run large (This is a half con. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8. After reading other reviews I opted to get a 7. Fits perfect)Traction is lacking. I had to walk over some large shoeline rocks and slipped around quite a bit. To be fair, I've walked similar rocks with this slick coating before and slid even with hiking boots.All and all I would definitely buy again and plan to do so when these start to deteriorate.
