This is specific to the 2-pin 5050 connector. General. I bought them because they were the same company that made my LEDs. The side that presses against the LED does not penetrate the tape to contact the solenoids. The side that connects to the wires couldn't cut through the body of the wire to make contact with the wire no matter what wire I used. After a few hours of pinching with pliers and rechecking every other connection, I just gave up and quit the old fashioned way.
