I’m 5’10, 300 pounds, post pregnancy (miscarriage). Got a 2XL, was able to cinch it on the first row, then again, I did measure myself and followed the "couple inches smaller” rule of thumb for waist trainers/cinchers. If you’re like me, a little on the larger side, remove the bars in the back of the trainer. Makes a whole world of difference. I’m very comfortable, able to sit, stand, after awhile, I forget I’m even wearing it. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 stars is because of the bars in the back of the waist trainer, which made it super uncomfortable. Another huge plus is, if you’re on the heavier side, one annoyance with girdles and some stomach wraps is we have wide backs, so the garment folds down on the top half of the back. With this product, that doesn’t happen. It’s almost like wearing a bathing suit, keeps everything tucked in.UPDATE: I started weight training this past Monday (10/16). The first picture was taken on that day. The second picture I took this morning, Saturday 10/21. I’m already on the second row of hooks, already lost about 2.5 inches off the waist. This is, of course, in conjunction with weight training and minor diet adjustments.
