Review on πŸͺ‘ The Ultimate Ergonomic Task Chair: NOUHAUS ErgoTASK/Draft - Computer and Office Chair with Headrest and Wheels by Crystal Phillips

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great Home Office Chair

I really like this chair and did a lot of research online before buying. This appears to be the best Revain chair in this price range (under $250), especially since it comes with rubber casters. There are other chairs for the same price, but if you want casters to protect the floor and slide easily, you'll have to buy them separately for around $40. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating was because the seat isn't as long as I'd like. Other chairs I've liked end up close to the inside of my knees, but this chair ends up at about 2/3 the length of my hips. It's a personal preference, and also a hazard, to shop online without being able to sit in a few chairs first to see how they feel. I hope that's not too unfair. For reference, I'm 6'1" tall and about 195 pounds. Assembly was fairly easy, although you'll have to look out for a few different sized screws that look the same. The instructions could have made them a bit clearer or the design could have can reduce the number of fasteners needed, but all you have to do is pay extra attention to The Wrong Screw It took me and one of my 8 year olds about 15 minutes to get the parts out of the box and put them on a Getting a chair to sit in, so it's a no-brainer After sitting in the chair at the computer for a little over a week, I found that I had no fatigue, pain, stiffness or discomfort from the whole day, which I think indicates the chair is working. It adapts to my body a little differently than other chairs and the back tends to push me forward and hold me off a b Leaning forward too much, which took some getting used to, but it improved my posture and that's probably why I still feel good after a long day at work. I have found that I prefer not to use the headrest. I also found that I really like the coat hanger for jackets or outerwear that seems to have been included in table chairs for the last few decades! If you have a wooden floor, caster wheels are fantastic and prevent damage to the floor, for example, when gliding slightly in the air (or on roller skates). I've used the chair on carpet for a few days and although it rolled perfectly in a straight line, there was a little resistance to changing direction, more than you would normally feel with regular plastic casters. Nothing fancy, but if you have carpet you'll probably want to use regular wheels. An important note about caster wheels: they are about 1-1/2 inches taller than the casters (see picture), making the chair much taller. the minimum value to fit under a normal height table. If you have shorter legs, the wheels can make the chair (and any other chair you put it on) too tall to be comfortable. This is a problem with the wheels, not the chair, and will be the same for any other chair if you choose rubber wheels.
