Review on 🌡️ Equus 6242 2-Inch Black Mechanical Water Temperature Gauge: Accurate and Reliable Monitoring by Jonathan Jensen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I need a second opinion and it works very well.

On a 1965 Mustang. When I bought it, there were problems with overheating. After some work we solved these problems, but suddenly, in the middle of a long tour, the temperature gauge started reading 3/4 instead of half. After piercing the radiator, replacing the sensor, and checking a bunch of other things, I decided to add this sensor to see the actual temperature. It mounts easily in the engine bay and the supplied fitting bolts straight into the thermostat housing (the test turned out to be removing the plug at the top of the thermostat housing). Now I realize I spent a lot of money when I just needed a new sensor. Works well at a reasonable price. The only thing that was in this repair!
