I like it but I don't like it. I don't know if the last straightener I bought from the same brand ran my hair smoother, but this one sometimes gets stuck when I curl my hair. I like the way it looks and it still gets the job done but in terms of quality it looks more versatile. Which is strange to me because it's from the same company. I don't know if Brilliance New York makes a lower quality but I was a little disappointed. I've been without a straightener for two weeks so I was very happy to have a working straightener back in my life so that deserves four stars. brilliant. I have thick hair so it takes a long time. But with this iron, time just flew by. I only had to skip some sections of my hair once and it was done. Heat up time so it took me about 2 minutes for the iron to heat up to the desired level. For me, this is a good time because I have time to distribute the hair products evenly on the lower strands of my hair. I've been using the same hair products for over two years so I know the extra shine is due to the flat iron and not my hair products, FYI.
