I am sorry to say that this item did not meet my expectations and did not do what most reviews said it would. I'm white with thick, fairly curly hair that frizzes easily in the hot, humid Louisiana weather. I used my new straightener claiming my hair didn't frizz and it frizzed worse than my old straightener. I will return this product.
