Edit: This review has been misclassified. My purchase and review is for square forks, not much smaller oblong forks. They are much thinner but only slightly shorter in height and even wider than the old square sockets compatible with Iris or Centralite smartthings. A brief overview of the pros and cons is below. - The minus button on the left can be useful in some situations, but mostly not for me. - Smartthings does not have power or energy controls out of the box. - Bright blue light. Why not use a less iridescent color? - Too big to fit two in one dual socket outlet. - Doesn't repeat or extend your Zigbee network (it's an end device) Plus + Connects quickly to Smartthings + Very responsive. + Remembers the last state of a power outage, which is a must for me. + Great price after coupon cut off + One of the cheapest ZigBee sockets that doesn't have an unusual shape (especially Ikea tradfri) - Leaves room to access a second nearby socket. I test them on the basic principles of automation outside the home. They are useful for simply shutting down power-hungry devices. The combination of price and shape/size is currently hard to beat.
