Can't tell you how many pepper grinders I've tried. Large berries of the highest quality will not happen. Adjusting the grind is difficult. The mechanism is out of order. They are too small or too big. Well this sister pepper mill works great. So when I wanted a salt shaker I felt comfortable choosing this model. It works well. The adjustments are simple and precise. If the grain you're loading is very coarse, you'll need to crank a lot, but that's okay: physics is physics, and too little salt is better than too much. Foodies should have a few of these grinders.
