I put this in the back of my 2010 Honda CR-V. Installation was a little more difficult than I expected, but it still only took about 10 minutes. The barrier extends to the ceiling and to the edge of each headrest. This leaves room for my dogs (boxers) to tuck their heads between the headrest and the sides of the car, which I'm fine with, it might bother other owners. This keeps my dogs in the hold, but if they really wanted to, they could easily tip it forward and climb in from the back. The fact that something stands in their way will deter some, but others like to test their limits. I have a feeling if I don't tell him "no" he might get in the trunk. Overall I like this product for the price but wish it didn't bend so easily.
