This hitch was not too hard to install. The instructions were pretty clear and I had no issues setting it up. It has made an incredible impact on reducing the sway on my travel trailer. I pull a 34 ft trailer with my F-150 and I had a significant issue with sway. I am much more comfortable driving with this hitch than I was before and I would do all I can to not have to drive without it again. The hitch itself is pretty heavy and would not be very easy for someone in their older years to pick up and put into a receiver.
