The color was not black but rather dark brown. disappointing. Other than that, so far so good, I like it a lot better than the generic Target brand I use. Updates: It's been almost 5 months since I've used this Brita. Pros: Large, holds a lot. Good taste. Flashes when a filter that is not already present needs to be replaced. Cons: Something leaking in the fridge? Putting paper towels on helps. At first I thought it was condensation, but I don't think so. It's also pretty heavy when it's pretty crowded haha. In general everything is fine. Don't hate, don't love. But for now it works.
