I sent it back and didn't use it but from what I saw it was basically a good set. This is a very complete set - everything a beginner needs is included. I didn't like the thin silicone molds. I especially didn't like the waffles on the outside of the heart or the cupcake shape. These fragile shapes are not suitable for hot wax. The hot wax would spill me and/or ruin anything they were sitting on if/when spilled. Then any colored paint will ruin anything it spills on, also because the dyes are colored in the liquid state. Otherwise it looked like a really good set. The tin structures were very cool. Melts are much better/easier than wax for beginners. The heated boiler looked fine. This is a great set for ordinary people who know how to use perfumes. I would just use my own or other hard sided shapes like metal or milk pouches with the rest of the set which is really nice. More advanced candle makers use wax rather than melt as they are cheaper. Melts is ideal for beginners and very easy to use. I sent it back because I didn't know it came with non-fruit flavors. Fibromyalgia sufferers cannot tolerate perfume or floral scents, so I had to immediately pack it up again and put it away.
