The product is strong and will stand up to a TV. It's cheap because it's cheap. The problem is that the wall mount frame, which looks like one piece, is actually two pieces (to save on packaging). The middle plate you see is used to connect the two parts of the frame. So when you first join them together into a wall frame, the connection doesn't make the straight rails that the TV mount sits on. Imagine you are faced with this problem. Second, the assembled wall frame is less than 32 inches long, making it difficult to grab two wall studs exactly where you want them. The issue of positioning is made even more difficult when you have to deal with the limitations that the center link plate adds to the TV's horizontal positioning. This product would be ok if the wall mount was one piece. I have not returned the item. Too much work. I drilled additional holes to allow for correct positioning.
