I purchased this bag song bag from Vera Bradley's retail store. I like the Felicity Paisley pattern best of the three available. This bag is great for facials, small toiletries, and a bottle of liquid that needs to stand upright. I've used a Vera Bradley Ditty bag for travel but it's too tall for some products and they don't always stay upright because the extra material leans forward and squeezes the bottles. This tote bag is perfect for me to leave bottles in this bag for the duration of my stay at the hotel. The interior is waterproof lined. The inside pocket with zip and the outside pockets are not waterproof lined. It would be nice if they were. The ties at the top will knock the bag over and that will take some getting used to. It would be nice if there was a clasp or 2 loops to thread the laces to tie them in a loop in the middle to close the bag. The ropes can be used as a handle to carry the bag, but I don't recommend this as they may not hold the weight when the bag is full. It would be nice if there were integrated handles on the front and back. The material is fabric and the inner pattern is very beautiful. I would have liked the material to be similar to the lightweight or recycled VB material but thinner so it's also waterproof on the outside. Can't wait to use it on my next vacation!
