Not sure if this would work given the mixed reviews but thought it might be worth a try as I have good water and the purple shampoo works, but not much. For reference/comparison, my hair is a) naturally curly, although I usually straighten it b) naturally dark ash brown around a level 3 or 4 c) currently bleached to around 7/8 with highlights. IT WORKS OUT. Now I have fine textured hair but there is a lot of it and it sits right above my bra straps. I sprayed a large amount to moisten it but it definitely didn't even crush the bottle (depending on the amount) and let it sit for 5 minutes (instructions say 1-3 minutes). Washed off, and when I straightened my hair it was soft, subtly shiny, but what was most noticeable was the brightness. The blonde was much lighter and a little less bold. The only thing that bothered me was that they were too light - where I tinted my hair initially looked great against my skin tone. I think the water from the well is dulling him more than I thought. However, I would recommend a great alternative to constant light and freshness between treatments. I am now a fan!
