I bought these garland strings to steal a faux pine Christmas garland off my stairs. It worked well - similar to bread binder. The shade of green was a little lighter than my garland, but blended well together. See my photos. The only thing I didn't like was the spilling of fake needles. It was quick and they get stuck in your floorboards, which isn't much fun to clean up, but I still prefer to buy a fresh garland (or Christmas tree, for that matter). I recommend this as an easy way to keep your garlands wrapped. around the railing.
