This is a long-awaited addition to my remote control collection. It works absolutely as advertised; Mute both in time steps with a large button and with a simple manual mute with a smaller button. Much easier to grab than trying to find the mute button on a cable box or TV latch - too many buttons on those things! It was easy for me to sync the remote to the TV (note: the digital display showed a 5 digit code, not 4 as described in the manual; I just skipped the first 0 and synced the first code entered). instantly).
