I wish I’d taken a picture of how this cot fit inside my Bisinnia tent, but oh well. I brought this cot along with a Klymit sleeping pad on a week-long bike tour. I knew I needed great sleep to average 70 miles of cycling a day, so I brought all of the tools in my chest. This cot was so comfortable that I never even used the sleeping pad. And I’m sure glad I had it when our charter decided to set up camp under the canopy of some walnut trees… To pack this into my 60-liter duffel, I folded the fabric and laid it flat on the bottom of my bag, then laid the legs and support poles on top of the fabric. All of my other tent materials went in the same duffel and my bag closed up nice and tight. For reference, I’m 5’5” tall and a muscular 170 lbs. I’m usually a back sleeper, but fighting dehydration sometimes causes me to toss and turn. Since I had a pillow for support, the cot was comfortable even when I was on my side.
