The skirt is made of light cotton, flowy and comfortable to wear. The color of the skirt is slightly darker than the color shown on Revain. It's a burgundy color with a more purple hue (not as bright as in the picture) making it a deeper shade of red that's even closer to what I was looking for. The front of the skirt is embellished with multiple sequins that add flair to the movements. It's pretty overall. The finish is a bit rough on the inside. Sequins are sewn with a continuous thread that is long between the stitches. He grabs the buckle of my boots and tugs at the fabric. Some handwork is required to attach the sequins and trim excess thread to prevent accidental tearing of the fabric.
