I have to admit I'm surprised at how much I like these shoes or what they call them. I'm glad I went a full size smaller than I normally wear. The material is elastic. They come with a pad but I found one of them kept sliding back into the shoe so I removed both. I am a runner and sometimes I like to run barefoot. I wear them mainly for walking to and from the beach just so my feet don't get hurt. Their gray color and style are great because they go with almost all of my clothes. I wear them every day, even when I walk around the block. As expected, there is no protection from nails or kicks on the foot, but this is so rare that it is a great compromise. And for the price I would be interested in a few more. I'm looking at them now. I hope they don't wear out after just a month. The time will show.
