Review on Raspberry Pi 4 Touchscreen Display Case with 7-Inch Monitor: NeeGo by Joshua Reid

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good design, the application may not be suitable for everyone

Pros: Symmetrical cutouts act as "grip" areas when you want it to be a wearable carryable. Can stand alone with Pi/Display installed. Enough space to connect the display connectors. easy to remove but doesn't look like it will fall off by itself. If you remove the back cover, you will see two screw slots, which you can use to mount the device on the wall, etc. Good / bad, depending on the application: - SD card is not removable in the case. you like it or hate it. I understand that it would be a bit tricky to design a case where the SD card can be removed with a case like this as the ribbon cable for the display is right above the SD card slot. There is enough space for the included jumper wires. with the official Raspberry Pi display. There is also enough room to potentially add a pi hat/custom PCB. If you're looking for the thinnest possible solution, it's not, but don't discredit it for that alone, as the extra thickness helps ensure the display remains stable when it's sitting on its own. The reason I took the star off is because it has vent holes. Top of the device and a smaller logo/hole on the back. I would like to see a design with more holes. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the case. Either way, it's easy enough to drill more holes if needed. Maybe they could offer a kit with two different backplates. Other Notes: The display is shown upside down by default. You can change this by editing /boot/config.txt and adding: lcd_rotate=2
