So far, so good. Received my 3 24x copier and tried it out on day one. I had to duplicate 48 different original discs so I didn't have time like now to try it and see if it works. Now it is slower for each DVD compared to burning a DVD on my computer. Burning the same DVD on my computer takes 6 minutes and burning a DVD on a duplicator takes 10 minutes. The computer is 8x speed and the DVD copier is 16x speed. However, I save time by burning 2 DVDs at the same time. Also, let me clarify that when I burn a DVD on my computer, the computer verifies the disc, when I use Duplicator I have a "Copy and Verify" or "Copy and Compare" option that verifies and matches every bit (the is not available on my computer), so that itself takes longer. After all, the first two DVDs I dubbed with the Duplicator were not recognized by any computer and I tried four different computers. Although the manual states that the duplicator's default write speed is 16x, which is the maximum write speed. speed of blank DVDs I decided to look through the menu and check for myself and sure enough it was set to 24x. So I changed it to 16x and made 50 DVDs, all of which were recognized by computers, copied and worked fine. I had three unsuccessful ones, but they are easy to recognize when duplicating. For example, you insert your master DVD and then insert a blank DVD media into the first slot. And it registers on the screen as 1, then it repeats and it registers as 2, and then. twice the screen showed 1 and the second slot just kept blinking green. I ejected the blank disc and replaced it with another blank disc and 2 was registered on the screen meaning I should make two duplicates. I pressed the ENT key and the copier started creating the DVD. Another time (that was after the copier finished copying) just one tray opened and the screen said PASS:1 FAIL:0 which made no sense because it should have read PASS:1 FAIL:1, but I just went through the process of creating a second DVD that didn't eject. In general, I like that you don't make a DVD that thinks it's good when it's actually bad. In any case, it's pretty obvious. It doesn't pick up the media at boot or eject it. Eating is understandable. Unlike burning a DVD on a computer, it even checks successfully, but then when you try to copy the data, a fatal error occurs afterwards. This happens from time to time but with this DVD duplicator of 50 DVDs burned in 1 day it never happened. The copier is easy to use. Adjusting the write speed actually saves it and doesn't revert to the default 24x if you turn it off when it's off. The only downside for me is that the DVD trays themselves don't seem that strong, actually fragile so be careful when inserting and removing DVDs from the trays. I like that this is a separate car. It's quiet, it just buzzes a bit when it syncs, otherwise you don't even realize it's on. It didn't give off excessive heat. It didn't fail once all day. It has excellent DVD burning capabilities. This is very reliable as these DVDs are backup files so each DVD is verified after dubbing and may have over 15,000 files etc written on it. and the 50 DVDs dubbed had no errors at all. It's better than burning all the DVDs from one computer, which I've done before, so I'm speaking from experience.
