These supports work. I would give this set 3/5 stars for quality. After replacing one of the added hitches, a new hitch was not enough to support the tailgate. After adding the 2nd elevator, they work very well. You will need a Torx T40 head for this job. Both OEM kits and this kit have Torx T40 screws. The BOXI screws are soft metal and I easily started to loosen one of them when installing the new bracket. While I was able to replace the first leg unaided, I had a second pair of hands holding the tailgate at the right angle to complete the job. With help it was much easier. I give this set 5/5 stars for the price, 4 stars overall. I would buy them again at this price. I will update this review if they ever fail in the future.
