Strong and reliable fittings
I ordered these after using the Simpson Laredo 6x6 mount for the first time. I liked Simpson's ability to slide and adjust a bit, but ended up allowing the bar to move too much. Because the base of this mount is molded larger, the seams of the base are much stronger. The side mounts are solid after using the included hardware and adjust to take raw wood and slide out for a true 6x6 (although I'm not sure where you'll find that). Overall I'm satisfied
