I bought this printer about a year ago. Then, when their original cartridges (tiny) ran out in August, I bought replacement cartridges here on Amazon for about $70. They worked great and everything was fine. Then, one day in February, the printer showed "out of toner" and no amount of setting changes could fix it. Although they were still more than 80% full. After talking to Customer Service B for a few hours I had to buy brand new cartridges ($330 which I had to pay) and they worked. Mixing old and new didn't work either. The only explanation (which the help center would never admit) is that the parent company released an over-the-air (it's a wi-fi printer) update that can tell if they made a toner cartridge or not. All B products should clearly state that even if the printer costs $220, the set of cartridges is 5 times overpriced and costs $330 instead of a fair price. And they will do anything to protect the monopoly.
