Compatibility issues

Wouldn't blink in any car. Rotated 180 degrees 4 different ways knowing the LED had polarity but no luck. Replaced by Sylvania Zevo and they worked fine with no other changes. Then I installed the same Philips on another machine and everything worked. Bright. And not too white to be used behind an amber turn signal lens.
