Let me start by saying that this lantern doesn't feel or look cheap at all. However, the way it was done is terrible. The holes where the rods attach are uneven. After all, it's something you can't say unless you look at it or look at it long enough. it will not be even. The Bracket Circle thing that runs behind the base of the light is poorly constructed as it bends the wires at an angle that will likely cut power to the light. We used a dremel to shave it off so the wires don't get crimped. The screws that go from the bracket to the base of the lamp were too short, we had to change them, luckily the extra ones that were included were barely there. just long enough. Finally, and I realized this when looking through photos from other reviewers - in hindsight. The cells around each lantern are 2 different sizes and it is noticeable. We were so fed up with this light that we just left it installed. I didn't notice that when I checked after delivery. For the price it's probably worth it, I accidentally bought it on sale for $35 and we may have gotten a defective one. Just expect that you might have to put in some extra effort to make it work for you.
