It's small and will work, but slowly.
This diffuser BUT works very slowly. You'll need to turn the burner all the way up to get medium heat. First, it's a lot less than expected. I can only use it for an asparagus pot that I have used in narrow and tall another that doesn't block the heat as much. Although nothing was spilled, the screen gets dirty and worn out very quickly and is not easy to clean.
