In the 1970’s I bought a Tom Ritchey hand made bike frame from Palo Alto cycles. Rode it daily for decades. 3 shoulder surgeries and old age made me ditch the tight drop bars and I sold the bike.My old bars were a bit bent from an accident last year. I also needed a more upright ride to ease my shoulder pain and I wanted a Ritchey "reminder” on my current Bike so I bought these bars.Out of the box, they are the same Ritchey quality that I’ve known since my 1977 Ritchey frame that Tom hand welded. The bars have a centering and bar roll indicator that assists in positioning. The bars were a bit longer than my OEM bars by about 2 inches which was good.See the photo of the bars installed on my bike. No wise cracks about the camera or light.I got clipped by a nitwit in a car last year making a left turn and the camera video was instrumental in the cops ticketing the lady for failure to yield right of way. It also forced the driver to pay for the damage to my bike.Very happy with these Ritchey bars. One note - they can scratch easily so be careful with installation. I wrapped them with blue painters tape on the open areas during installation.Overall, they fit and finish of these bars is top rate. Thanks to Mr. Ritchey for keeping his quality first rate nearly 50 years later. Hope that helps!
