These are good scissors---technically aviation scissors. I bought these to cut through 19 gauge coated fabric and they did the job perfectly. When I was shopping, I didn't realize that aviator scissors were "manual". Reds work to cut left or center and work well in the right hand. They feel pretty comfortable and run really fast - I don't have a lot of arm strength and was able to slip through the wires on the hardware fabric quickly. Be careful with them - they can easily tear off your finger - watch the position of your hand.
