I am satisfied with the product, it is made well, the price is also pleasing.

Everything would be fine and it would be an excellent lens with all the pros and cons, but when I compared the maximum resolution I was horrified. It is at the level of budget manual lenses with m42 thread. Those. you will not get crisp, ringing landscape sharpness at clamped apertures. Purely optically - it is a piece of cheap plastic. Ef colleague in maximum resolution is 2 heads higher, although contrast and vignetting are worse there, but these things can be fixed in the editor. Its matrix is 12-15 megapixels. In general, it was not in vain that Canon put such a price tag on him. I'm not going to sell it, I recommend buying it, if there are no ef versions, it will work as a universal fighter and portrait painter, but as a landscape painter - so-so. If the dimensions are not embarrassing for this money, better than EF 50 mm 1.4, with a slightly better resolution, higher aperture, autofocus speed, better contrast and colors, i. E. there will be at least a good portrait. This glass is neither there nor here.

Pros
  • -Dimensions -The weight -Price considering that this is an RF mount -Nimble STM motor -Pretty good contrast compared to EF brother 50 1.8 - Resolution in the corners on the open
Cons
  • -VERY low maximum resolution on holes 5.6-11 - Price compared to EF brother, less plastic and glass, and the price is significantly higher.
