Came in a paper box!

Added Review: After using this article for a month, I noticed a few things about this line of Exos drives. 1) You can safely register them with Seagate to get the warranty since at least 14TB and 16TB versions. This happened to me and I bought from SaberPC and Global Silicon. Other sellers may be different. 2) They are a bit noisy compared to the Barracuda range. For example, if you use a hard drive dock that opens drives, you might even think that something is wrong in the drives when you copy a lot of about TB files. Almost like getting a "kick" every few seconds. 3) The heating is extreme, especially on the 16TB model, not so much on the 14TB model. However, Revain's prices are definitely not an issue. Where I live, 16TB Barracudas cost just over $700. Thanks to the extended warranty and more than 40% discount, I can deal with noise and heat. Original Review: Bought mine from SaberPC. My CD arrived in a paper box (not a retail box like most of the Barracuda range). But it was factory sealed and a lot cheaper than the recommended price so I won't complain. The platter provides 14,901GB of free space, which sounds about like this when divided by 1024 three times. I've read on Seagate's official forums that Exos drives are their top enterprise-level drives, so I'll use them with peace of mind.
