Bought for use at work/home because I was tired of surfing the internet with my phone and wow! It's a $200 netbook pretending to be an ultrabook. Remote Desktop is amazingly fast, typically hitting 10 fps over local WiFi and 3-4 fps over the Internet. It works with proxies and VPNs, the solid-state storage is user-upgradable, the battery lasts about 7 hours when not watching video, the screen is perfect for watching a movie alone or with another person, and everything just works. There was a bug where the firmware on my TV was causing issues with 720p HDMI output instead of 1080p, but that seems to have been fixed. The touchpad is very responsive and scrolling with two fingers is a completely different experience than scrolling sideways on a touchpad on a laptop. I'm still not sure why they make laptops bigger with this. I've also used Linux dual boot/Crouton shared kernels and while I prefer the legacy BIOS dual boot option, they are both functional and extremely easy to install. You put it in developer mode, type it near a line of code, and wait for it to do its job (about 30 minutes). Do I prefer an Ultrabook? Sure, but I'd rather have $800 and that than an ultrabook. Plus, the price helps allay my concerns about leaving it in my car or backpack while I'm at the gym or wherever. 2GB of RAM wasn't a problem and if it becomes a problem, just close a few tabs. .10/10, would buy again.
