Maggie is a wolf, weighs 9-10 pounds. Size Large fits her perfectly. Thanks to other reviews I chose the right size for her. She usually carries a medium. I haven't washed it yet. The fabric washes well. I wish I could see velcro instead of all fasteners. Maggie is afraid the bubble wrap will burst and the sound of it clicking scared her a little. Excellent purchase. I hope to see it in more fabrics in the future. UPDATE: I've washed and dried it many times. So far it fits perfectly. I'm here right now looking for different fabric designs for fun summer clothes.
