As a replacement, I purchased Primasi 3 tires in the same size as the previous set (225/45/17), and I currently have them mounted on the Octavia A7 1.8 st1 - 240ls with front-wheel drive. I was anticipating a decline in noise and smoothness following a colleague, but to my surprise, they are at least not worse than prima 3, and subjectively seem to be better in terms of comfort. This could be because they are brand new, despite the fact that prima sold them with a residual of 1-2mm to limiters. In terms of the mechanics of the gearbox, second gear is currently without an axle box on decent pavement, and primacy frequently fails. I was not expecting the tires to be that comfortable, so it was a pleasant surprise. As a bonus, Michelin provided me with a tavern and a petrol card; they also offered me a discount of three Turkish lira, which I think is quite good. I will continue to eat the review as I continue to use it.
