The bottom (first 1 inch +/-) of this large container is rigid, with a flexible rubber (or silicone) top that stretches can be folded/expanded. Includes a tightly sealed cover that is easy to install. Just press on the ledges, not down. It can be used folded or fully extended according to your needs. It's lightweight, easy to clean (dishwasher safe) and easy to store. It has enough room for most large cuts of meat (whole chicken, roast, pork shoulder/leg, etc.) but is not large enough to accommodate an untrimmed breast, rib cage or whole turkey. Overall I think this is a great marinade container but I want it to be big enough to hold very large meats (breast/brisket) and I'm not sure how it will hold up (expand and collapse) with regular use will hold. . . ).
