It's great. I have six of these, one for each wheel of three bikes, and they greatly improve side visibility. The headlights and taillights are great, but I work downtown and I'm often overlooked by drivers making quick turns and merging, which is necessary on many one-way streets. They are cheap and great value if you are spotted cycling at night. They're pretty bright too! (no pun intended) Very easy to install, just put on a spoke and slide it to the outside of the wheel so it gets stuck between the three spokes. I put a clear zip tie around the lantern and spoke so an envious passerby couldn't just pull them off. They have two modes of operation: steady and blinking (flashing). I find solid surgery is better; Because they're on your wheel, they move enough to be very attractive, which would be an advantage of blinking mode. They're not that easy to turn on and off; This requires a very strong pressure, so strong that you have to reinforce the light with the other hand so as not to stress the spokes too much. However, this is better than accidentally turning on and draining the button battery. The batteries are replaceable but last so long that I don't need them yet. Highly recommended!
