Review on Planet Bike 3040 Superflash Headlight by Johnnie Bowlan

My husband and I have probably always had these lights. But over time we lost a few of them, some got stolen from the bike and one just died from time and overuse. So I bought a set of supposedly funky taillights from my local bike shop with a cute little rubberized mount - pretty much the only reason I tried them out was because I have a Bike Friday pocket llama and the tubes are oddly shaped in places that make it difficult to mount headlights These fancy Schemant lights should last forever and be brighter than any other light. Well, after the first set of these big flat batteries ran out of juice after what seemed like not too long a time, I replaced them with a new set. Less than a week later (and less than 3-5 hours night driving) they died again. So I replaced the batteries again only to find the light just stopped working. So I dropped all the fancy chitchat and went back to my old, trusty Planet Bike lights. These were consistently the BEST flashlights my husband and I have ever had. And we cycle a lot. Over 7,000 miles across Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Thailand, over 3,000 miles across the US from north to south and countless miles between commutes and games. DO NOT BUY OTHER LIGHTS. I've learned my lesson. Planet Bike is all you will ever need.
