Works well. I bought it because I live alone and wanted to save on heating bills in winter. I keep my thermostat pretty low and put this heater in the room I'm in. I've never used a fan only/no heat setting so can't comment on that. TLDR; I like the heating and the security feature is a plus. Works well in small spaces but less effective in large ones. Pros: - I love the rollover feature. I noticed prior to purchasing that some reviewers didn't like/understand what it was for, but I want to know that it won't catch fire if my dog accidentally knocks it over while I'm not around. - I like that there are adjustable settings. If the room is already warm, I don't need it to keep blowing on strong heat - Warms small rooms well. As I mentioned before, I live alone and have found that the heating is most effective when the door to my bedroom or office is closed most of the time. As for the larger rooms - I had these in the kitchen when I had a guest and while there wasn't much of a difference I saw my thermostat tell me the temperature was a few degrees warmer. Cons: - Takes some time. heat up the room. But I understand how airflow works, so there's nothing I can do about it. In that sense, the fact that there's a decent fan built in certainly helps. The fan produces noticeable noise. I only noticed it because I used it before bed. I can fall asleep fairly easily so it doesn't bother me most of the time, but I could see it bothering some people. Otherwise I sometimes have to turn up the volume on the TV a bit, but that doesn't matter. Certainly not loud enough to affect what I'm talking to others etc. - The cord is a bit short. I just wish it was a little longer so I can have it right next to me and feel that great warmth while the room is still heating up. All in all a good little heater. Works as I expected.
