FIRST THING I DON'T WANT: The picture on the packaging is totally misleading as it shows the cap can be removed from the mouthpiece. In fact, they are bound. Your child should try to push back the large lid to suck out the food. My 7 month old doesn't know what to put in his mouth when they look the same. The good news is that you can fix this. WHAT I LIKE: I took scissors to the mouthpiece and cut off the cap. It's perfect like this. You can still use the cap, but it won't affect your baby's eating. (To be honest, I'm surprised more people aren't complaining about the cap. I think everyone would agree. It's ridiculous.) Anyway, I like that the cap is silicone. My child likes to chew, but understands that this is food and his goal is to eat. He just loves how it feels on his gums. They don't leak or spill. Food only comes out of this thing when the child spits it out of their mouth, bites down on the mouthpiece, and squeezes the pouch.
