Don't buy this bag if you need a bag that will roll on a regular city sidewalk or for long distances. The foldable feature and solid construction led me to this purchase. But sadly after several trips I can say that the rolling function is really lacking. Unless packed with perfect balance in teh extended position the bag falls over and will simply not roll without falling over. The strap is not configured to assist rolling and the handles are too short to work for rolling.
