I don't know what I was expecting but as this is one of the cheapest USB Type-C power meters I've looked at I expected it. not to do what I wanted. Not only does it work with QC 4.0 and USB PD, it also has full USB 3.0 data transfer and comes with one of those Nano Type A to Micro B adapters that plug into a Type A connector. I ran the speed test on a USB 3.0 stick and got the same results with and without the tester. It outputs no power to A when input from C, but works in any other case. It makes sense, so it doesn't bother me at all. I've lost the reversibility that the old Type A 2.0 meter had, but then again I totally understand why and I'm glad they went in that direction. I've had a whole day of expensive electronics not working and testing this little device has reignited my confidence in the technology.
