After choosing the paw hanger over the small magnet, I preferred the paw because of the way it was attached. The little hooks at the bottom and you might think this is the best way to go, but it's not snug and doesn't fit very well and when not in use it comes off badly. Every time I have to use it I have to reattach the hanger and the stock attaches in the opposite direction and I haven't had a single fall yet. The magnet isn't that strong either. If you're buying a gauge and hanger, keep this in mind.
