A good replacement for a mechanical drive. Shows slightly faster performance (for O/S work---as a data disk, it's noticeably faster). This device does NOT include cloning software. If you don't have one, you should get something like Acronis True Image or Mini-Tool Partition Wizard or SSD Scope (maybe even EASIS Drive Cloning or Clonezilla) (((Mini_Tool Partition Wizard is best in my opinion. If alignment by sectors and Cylinders are not required, Clonezilla and gParted are excellent - similar to how Norton Ghost used to be)))
